Angel Cards

Angel Card

‘Tis the season to start thinking about Christmas?  Although it may be too early to deck the halls it is a good time to start thinking about cards and presents.  These little angels can be sent flat and then easily assembled by the recipients.

You will need:

  • Card suitable for printing on (160 gsm works well)
  • Scissors
  • A pen
  • Decorations such as glitter glue or gold stars (optional)
  • C5 envelopes

What to do:

  1. Print out as many angels as desired (there are two per page).  Download the templates below.
  2. Cut along all the lines including the two slots and removing the shaded area.
  3. Lay the shapes down with the blank side up.
  4. Decorate the angel however you like on any area except the wings (the wings start at the slots).
  5. On the wings write your personal message to the recipient (when the angel is put together this will appear on the back of the wings).
  6. The angel is now ready to post, the instructions on the back of the angel will tell the recipient how to put it together.

Alternative

Use the blank template to create angels to decorate your house.  Simply decorate and assemble.  If you would like to make hanging angels, once the angel is assembled use a needle to put a thread through the angle where the wings cross over.
